Grand Budapest tour

This Budapest orientation tour is a great option for you, if you are visiting Budapest for the first time. Let us help you explore the most stunning attractions of both the Buda and the Pest side in 7 hours, by walking or by driving.

Itinerary: On the Pest side we’ll take you to Heroes' square, and the City Park neighborhood. After seeing the city's biggest thermal bath and a fairytale castle, we'll get a glimpse of acclaimed modern day architecture by the House of Music and the Museum of Ethnography. A walk along Andrássy avenue is perfect to admire the stunning palaces of former aristocrats, and the State Opera House. To reach the St. Stephen’s Basilica, the largest Catholic church of Budapest, we'll take the second oldest subway in the world, the Millenium Railway. In the heart of the governmental area we show you the most emblematic sight of Hungary, the Parliament Building. We'll also discover the second largest synagogue in the world, and reveal how the Jewish district has changed since its foundation.

On the other side – the old historical town of Buda –, we’ll show you around the magnificent Castle Garden Bazaar, the Royal Palace decorated by the elaborate Matthias Fountain, the recently reborn Royal Guards' House and Riding Hall, and the mesmerizing building of the former Ministry of Finance. In the civil town area by the truly amazing Matthias Church the Fisherman’s Bastion provides spectacular views of the Danube and Pest. Along the cobblestone streets and romantic medieval houses, you'll be taken on a time travel experience.

During the tour we include a lunch break around midday.

In case of a driving tour we visit the top of Gellért Hill with the Citadel and the glorious panorama of our capital.
