Budapest Foodie tour

Our tour is the perfect combination of sightseeing and great culinary adventures, tasting the most amazing treats of Hungarian cuisine: sweets, snacks, wine, and more. Bon appétit!

Itinerary: we’ll take you to one of the famous cafés of the 19th century and introduce you to some of Hungary's traditional layered cakes. While engaging your senses, you can marvel at the beautifully detailed interior of the former meeting place of intellectuals. Then we show you where today's youngsters like to meet, a ruin bar in the downtown area. Entering the main pedestrian zone, on Váci Street, you can also taste the authentic Chimney cake. After the sweets, comes some savory. At a local butcher’s, you may consider trying some sausage seasoned with paprika and a a side of pickled veggies. Before the biggest covered market of Budapest, the Central Market Hall, you need to save some space in your stomach for some straight out of the oven cheesy scones (pogácsa), strudels, and Hungarian salami. To finish the day, we invite you for a nice glass of Hungarian wine. Cheers!
