Hidden Budapest tour

We take you to courtyards so you can see where the medieval city center had its borders, and point out facades with mementos of WWII and the 1956 Uprising. Itinerary: We take you to the downtown area of the Pest side around the National Museum. We go to the Palace Quarter and the University District. We’ll peek into unseen squares, courtyards, gardens, and lobbies. At the Ferenciek Square we show you some of Budapest's most elegant palaces, among them the extravagant Parisian Courtyard. We pop into the historical meeting places of 19th-century intellectuals, the famous cafés of Budapest. The neighborhood between the Great Synagogue and the State Opera House offers streets to explore in search of Art Nouveau, street art, and the painful reminders of WWII and 1956.
